Over a decade ago when I decided to become a personal trainer, I wanted people to have a unique training experience. I wanted my clients to have a strength "coach" not just someone standing in front of them going through the motions. I wanted to teach clients how to exercise. Why exercise is important. How to exercise with correct form. I wanted to teach them about sets, reps, rest periods, and how to progress to become the strongest version of themselves. I wanted to teach women that lifting weights was not only ok, but necessary. I wanted them to know and feel how strong they are and how strong they could become. I wanted to teach them how to squat, lunge, hip hinge, be strong enough to complete a set of pushups, and have a strong upper and lower body. To look the way they have always wanted to and feel confident about themselves. I wanted them to have a coach they could depend on to give them the correct answers to their fitness questions. So, for the past 10+ years I have been doing all these things and more. But, it's not enough.
I want more people to experience the community that I and my clients have worked hard to build. A place where people can come together to be stronger. To be apart of a fitness family. A place where everyone shares in each other's successes and supports each other during their struggles. I am extending an invitation to anyone and everyone. Anyone who feels they don't know how to exercise, anyone who wants to learn more about exercise, anyone who wants to get stronger, and anyone who wants to be part of a gym where they aren't just a monthly payment.
I graduated with my degree in Advanced Personal Training and Exercise Science in 2015 from Bryan University. I also hold certifications as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Precision Nutrition Coach, and Yoga Instructor.
My coaching style is about self-love and empowerment.
I encourage my clients and teach them that health & fitness is a journey for life and we should always be striving for the healthiest and best version of ourselves - loving ourselves through every step. I believe in being strong and helping women realize how strong they are both inside and out.
